Polyethersulfone polymer membranes, particularly when modified to become hydrophilic, offer substantial enhancements in filtration performance. The natural hydrophobicity of standard PES results in limited wetting and resulting reduced throughput in aqueous uses. Surface modification via hydrophiliz
